8+ Years of Stage Virtuosity & Classical Dedication
Born and brought up in Siliguri, North Bengal, Pritam Deb Sarkar's musical journey began at the age of five under his father, the respected Shri Sachin Deb Sarkar. At age six, his passion for the violin led him to begin formal classical tutelage under renowned violinist Shri Sujan Adhikari.
Today, Pritam pursues advanced studies as a senior disciple of world-renowned violin maestro Pt. Indradeep Ghosh. Under his guru's guidance, he continuously expands the horizons of Indian classical violin, supported by rhythm (Taal) mentorship from Shri Apurba Banerjee.
Accomplished across both Indian classical and Western music traditions, Pritam is also the lead violinist for Bengali fusion sensation HOOLIGANISM, known for electrifying stadium audiences with classical-rock innovations.
